Matthew Livingston founded RC Homes, Inc. predecessor company, Ridge Crest Real Estate LLC, in 2007. As President, he manages the firm’s investment and acquisition strategy, including securing financing for our projects. Matthew is closely involved with day-to-day operational and entitlement issues, leaning on his legal background. Under his leadership, Ridge Crest has invested over $350,000,000 in real estate assets and development projects including $217,000,000 for ground up construction of single family homes and townhomes.
Before founding Ridge Crest Real Estate, Matt worked as a corporate finance attorney at Milbank LLP (formerly Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy) in New York. His legal work focused on debt issuances for clients such as JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse and Citibank. Matt earned is BA in Economics from Tufts University and his JD from New York University. He is admitted to the Bar in New York and New Jersey. After practicing law, Matthew served as the Director of Land Acquisitions and Community Development Manager at Centex Homes’ Los Angeles Division, where he acquired and developed over 3,000 homes, including a master-planned community in Ventura County.
